Roof leak detection & water ingress
A structured investigation to locate the source of water ingress.
A damp patch indoors does not always sit directly below the entry point. We inspect likely weak points and, where appropriate, use fluorescent tracer and UV equipment to help follow water paths. The investigation scope is agreed before attendance.
Leak investigation pricing
€350 incl. VAT for up to 2 hours or €500 incl. VAT for up to 4 hours, where the fluorescent-tracer/UV investigation package is suitable. The scope, access and package are confirmed in the quotation before the visit.
Common signs of water ingress
Damp marks, staining, musty smells, displaced tiles, damaged flashing or moisture in the loft can all justify an inspection. Emergency attendance remains subject to weather and safe access.
Clear communication before work starts
The condition of the roof, safe access, proposed method, scope and price are confirmed before work begins. Additional work is not carried out without your agreement.
